What These Numbers Mean
BMR stands for Basal Metabolic Rate. This is the number of calories your body burns at complete rest just to keep you alive, such as breathing, circulation, and basic organ function.
TDEE stands for Total Daily Energy Expenditure. This is your estimated total calories burned in a full day after your activity level is included. It gives you a better idea of how much energy your body uses daily.
BMI stands for Body Mass Index. It is a simple calculation based on your height and weight that helps show whether your body weight is generally within a lower, normal, or higher range. It does not measure muscle mass directly.
Goal Calories are your calories after adjusting your TDEE based on your goal. For fat loss, calories are reduced. For muscle gain, calories are increased. For maintenance, they usually stay close to your TDEE.
Adjusted Calories are your final target calories after exercise calories are added on top of your goal calories. This helps give a more personalised daily intake target based on your training.
